Position Description:
Manage the strategic as well as daily activities of the TIDAL Software Development Product team(s). Responsibilities include:
- Release planning for multiple product lines
- Direct HR management of software developers including recruiting, hiring and other staffing related activities
- Work with Legal on Contracts and SOW's
- Guiding interaction with QE, Tech Support and Sales
- Directly working sales opportunities and issues with the exec team and sales
- Delivering high quality software, on time, with the committed features
- Work directly with Product Management on product and customer requirements
- Interact with a cross functional team on product roadmaps and requirements
- Provide visibility and transparency to upper management for all activities
- Travel as required to support development activities
Skills / Experience Required
- Structured software development and delivery
- Familiar with the full Agile/Discipline methodology continuum
- Project planning / execution
- Demonstrated customer focus and interaction
- Employee career planning and growth counseling
- Recruitment and retention
- Management of a 10 or more person team
- Familiarity with C#, Java, J2EE, and RDBS
- Create and manage budgets
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Skills / Experience Desired:
- Enterprise scheduler market experience
- J2EE, C#, .Net application performance monitoring market experience
Travel required:
- Yes, approximately 10 to 15%
