Position Description:

This technical consultant will be expected to deliver on-site consulting services acting as the primary interface to Tidal Software customers for software implementation and configuration, customized integrations, product usage and training, problem resolution and workarounds. This person serves as implementation expert on Tidal Enterprise Scheduler software, assists with conversion to Tidal Enterprise Scheduler from other scheduling software, provides product training classes as well as best practices documentation and transfer of knowledge to appropriate groups on product quality and usage. The ideal candidate can resolve technical software problems, coordinates & manages multiple tasks at multiple customer sites and develop custom integrations to 3rd party applications. This position is expected to travel 70-80% of the time.

Technical Skills Required

• Must have programming skills in JAVA or C++ or UNIX scripts
• At least 5 years of SAP basis experience with ABAP knowledge and Netweaver applications (like Web application servers) as well as tracking and resolving performance bottlenecks on R/3 and BW systems
• Ability to understand and configure external communications with SAP systems
• Knowledge of network framework software such as Open View, Netview or MOM
• Experience with Server Clustering solutions such as HACMP, Sun Cluster or Microsoft Windows clusters
• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science plus five years of experience.
