Enterprise Scheduler Advanced Training Syllabus
This course focuses on the advanced features and functionalities of
Tidal Enterprise Scheduler
to provide a higher level of expertise. Students who need to go beyond the intermediate course make
up the enrollment of this class.
This one-day, interactive course requires the successful completion of the
Enterprise Scheduler Intermediate Course and it is recommended that it be taken immediately after
the Intermediate course. This course teaches students how to use and install multiple agents and
how to create advanced calendars. Students will be introduced to using logs, the command line
interface, and fault tolerance for the Enterprise Scheduler. Our expert product instructors will
guide the students through the learning process by lecture, real time examples, student worked
labs, and tests.

- How to use dependencies effectively
- How to make variable dependencies between systems
Job Events and Actions

How to control security issues
- Best practices to avoid security issues
Web Client
- Installing and configuring a web client
- Using the web client
Command Line interface to the Enterprise Scheduler functions
- How to control the Scheduler from a non-GUI interface
Throughout this one-day course the students computer skills will be put
to the test. Students will be learning the advanced Job and System Events and Action concepts,
along with a better understanding of security. The Students scheduling knowledge will
increase as they learn how to define advanced calendars and how to use fiscal calendars
in scheduling jobs. The use of inter-system dependencies will be taught using remote master
variables. The student will learn how to use the command line interface to both control the
schedule and make changes in the schedule. The new PERT display and web client will be covered
and explored by the students. All this adds up to making the student a more valuable resource
to your company. Upon successful completion of this course students will be awarded a certificate
that shows everyone that they are on their way to becoming a Certified Tidal Scheduler.
